In maths today I treid a sudoku with shapes. It was hard. I tried one with numbers. I will practise.

Making boats

In inquiry we are learning about the design process. The design process is where you plan,
design and test a product or theory. Sometimes when you test it , it doesn't work and you
have to start at the beginning again to see how you would make it better. Mrs McG gave
us a challenge. We had to plan,design+build a straw raft to float with 50g of weight on it.
we could only use on meter of masking tape. Our raft failed 0 times because with left some
holes for air to get and we did some research about how rafts float and found that there
need to be no holes. We found the challenge easy, we found the designing part challenging
because i'm not good at designing stuff.     

Wanted Poster

We watched a video. The pigeon wanted to take over the missions the guy was doing. We had to make a wanted poster for the pigeon. 

The Lorax

In Literacy we have been reading the story by Dr. Suess called The Lorax. We learnt all about the characters. we description The Lorax and The once-ler. We wrote descriptions about The once-ler. We compared the characters. We looked at what was the same and what was different about them.

We have just watched the trailer from the grinch how christmas and I think it means?

I think it means it can be stolen by the grinch.

But it couldn’t be stolen if we stop the grinch.

The grinch has a dog not a reindeer.

On Friday i went to clip n climb with the year fours. It was cool and i had a lot of fun. We went on a bus. We had to put on a harness
